artist statement: cyclical nature

Artist Statement: Cyclical Nature

The cycle of life is a never-ending path that humans are enthralled by. What makes the earth go around and change the way the climate is, fascinates the human brain as it looks for patterns. Patterns are the key to having a cyclical nature, what satisfies the left brain (the analytical side) and sometimes the right side (the artistic side) is why cycles exist in the first place. Color, alignment, lighting, subject, and arrangement is what makes something cyclical. The object that is by definition the most cyclical is a tree, it changes shape and color depending on the season. It lives and dies, it is almost an analogy for the human body, it is why most everyone immediately thinks of trees when they think of what cyclical nature is.
